- The integrated microphone and the integrated speaker enable the use of the C-C500 without the upper unit.

- As a sturdy and robust quick-connect socket for the standard connector of the upper units, the C-C500 can be combined with any of the upper units and connects these to different types of radio devices.
- Two large push-to-talk buttons
- The two large push-to-talk buttons enable secure voice transmission, even if the C-C500 is operated via the equipment or worn under the protective clothing.
- Robust and water-repellant (IP 67)
- The C-C500 has been designed to be particularly sturdy and robust for many different applications as well as being watertight.
- ATEX approved
- Should the system need to be used in environments where there is a potential explosion hazard, the C-C500 is designed in such a way that it meets ATEX requirements and has APEX approval.

The Dräger FPS-COM is the first fully integrated mask communication system, especially developed for professional use by firefighters and the emergency services.
Dräger MS-COM
The Dräger MS-COM, alternatively with swan neck microphone or with microphone positioned under the cap, can be combined with the C-C500 via stereo jack and adapted to radio units.
